Baby Shakes
Baby Shakes is a music group from New York City. Baby Shakes call their music rock, power-pop and punk, and mentioned also glam and rock'n'roll.
== History ==
Baby Shakes were founded 2004 in New York City by Mary Blount (born November 1982, from Seattle), Judy Lindsay (born November 1981, from Atlanta) and Claudia Gonzalez (born January 1984, from New York). Their first concert happened in February 2005. They have toured the US, Europe twice (September 2007, November/December 2009) and Japan (February 2009). A third tour in Europe with a stopover in UK/Ireland is taking place in August and September 2015 following the release of their second full length album (due July 2015) and a second Japanese tour in early 2016.
The drums are played by certain colleagues, currently Ryan McHale (New York), formerly their drummer was Dave Rahn from Atlanta (he drums actually for Gentleman Jesse and Carbonas). Rahn played the drums on all recordings. During the tour in Japan in February 2009 the drums were played by Travis Ramin (Nikki Corvette, Fevers); on the last European 2009 tour the drumming was provided by the Japanese New Yorker Shingo Nishimaru.
